Kitten in the Roses

Another image from my Joanna Sheen cd "furry friends", this time a beautiful blue eyed kitten photographed in pink roses, for all you cat lovers. I do like cats we used to have 2,but they are horrid bird killers and for that reason I don't want any more.
This card will be just the ticket for my Mother in law for Mothers Day, along with a lovely bunch of pink roses and some chocs, sure she will be very pleased.
The papers, great match me thinks, are Letters from Paris, wildrose studio paper pack.I've used a diecut nesties for the photo frame and the border diecut is spellbinders parisian ascents. The card candy and sentiment both craftwork cards.

How cute is that Yorkshire Terrier puppy,in his little flat cap. Makes a good mens card too me thinks, well flat caps are manly and most blokes, well the ones I know ,are a push over when seeing a cute Yorkie.

Poppys and Butterflies

It's a few days since my last post and I've not visited my friends ,sorry, but I'm having a worse time than usual. My thyroid levels are all over the place ,my tummy is behaving worse than ever and I could sleep for England.Glad the weather has improved I get so cold in my hands and feet they go numb and I shake with cold in bed with my teeth chattering, the electric blanket is often switched on in June. My hubby , who is always hot ,has had a few days of work and has been a great help,I don't think men as a whole are natural carers and nurturers but mine does try and I must be a pain at times.
On a brighter note ,my cards, using a lovely poppy stamp by Hero Arts called delicate blossoms. I've coloured both cards with pro markers.
The first card has a backing paper from a "messy rabbit " cd by Joanna Sheen,a die cut border edge die, spellbinders Parisian ascents,a strip of silver peel off ,a chip board butterfly (mag free bee) and a few red gems.
The second card has paper by K&Co ,linen closet, a red satin ribbon (local craft shop) and a gorgeous red fabric butterfly (sent by my Dad from Thailand).

If friends where flowers

Gosh it's cold, pouring water on the bird bath 3 times a day and, throwing seed all the time. We have a semi tame black bird that visits the garden all the time, he often scares me because I'm frightened of birds, but he's very clever and can tell the time....when I put my 2 dogs dinners out on the patio about 4 o'clock ,he's waiting on the fence, or if he's not there he hears me rattling the tins as I knock out the left over dinners....then he's down before I've got inside and happily eating the left over pedigree chum and chicken bits...bless him...

I've been having a play with my new machine and die cuts and came up with this card shape. The stamp ,one of my fav, bountiful by penny black, coloured with promarkers in blues ,creams and browns.
The sentiment is craft work cards and the gorgeous fabric ribbon from a mixed bag bought at Crabapple crafts.
